You snooze ... you lose!

Heritage Action for America has announced the following:

Obama is running circles around conservatives.

Last week, Obama's staff quietly launched a lobbying organization called Organizing for Action.

Organizing for Action picks up where Obama for America (the political machine that got Obama reelected) left off. They're building a massive new organization on the Obama campaign's powerful organizational and technological infrastructure.

This is a huge fundraising operation that can funnel money to support the Obama agenda.

Reposted from the "Freedom Readers" group:

Note: We have put "Atlas Shrugged" on the back burner for now, and we are now concentrating on "The Little Blue Book". We are utilizing the concept of "timely tactics" from "Rules for Radicals". Since "The Little Blue Book" has just been released, we want to concentrate on its content immediately.

We have 5 copies available to give out to the first 5 that request a copy. The cost is $8.50 per book. If you would like a copy, send a message to Christy LePretre (she is a member of this group, so you can message her through this group) and she will forward that on to me (Jonathan and I will coordinate getting the book to you). If more than 5 requests come in, then she will be able to coordinate the purchasing of additional books.

NOTE: If you have already requested a book, then your copy is set aside for you (contact Christy) and is not part of the 5 books remaining to give out.

I have already started reading this book, and I find it worth our while to understand how "politics" is being "framed". It starts off using Obamacare as an example. Once you read it, then you will see the big picture on how issues are being framed. This is important to know if we need to "counter frame".

This is definitely a good book for a discussion group. Get your copy and start reading it ASAP!!!

WARNING: Be prepared to have your "moral complexity" challenged!

Sign the Petition : 3,277 Signers So Far Reject Anti-ALEC Bullying

Dozens of great American companies, most recently including Amazon and Wal-Mart, have buckled to the intimidation tactics of Color of Change, a radical group founded by avowed communist and 9/11 truther Anthony K. "Van" Jones.

Companies have let a handful of bullies force them to withdraw support for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), an association of free-market state legislators who work together to advance individual freedom at the state level.

The bullies have admitted they are manipulating a tragic death to silence their political opponents.  "The Trayvon Martin thing was like a gift," one of the organizers said.

Companies must reject these intimidation tactics, reverse course, and restore support for ALEC.

Sign the petition if you agree!

The latest tactic by Common Cause to silence the American Legislative Exchange Council is now focused on the group's IRS filing status ("ALEC Is a Lobby, Not a Charity" by Bob Edgar, op-ed, June 1).

Far from "flouting" federal tax statutes, ALEC continues to follow both the letter and spirit of the law. Mr. Edgar tries to lure readers into the false sense that ALEC is just another lobbying entity, but his analysis is self-serving and wrong.

Activate: How to turn the 2012 election from a close call to a mandate

Last night, Glenn focused on the importance of commitment. He was the first to admit, a lot of last night’s show was something you had heard before – but it’s important to start at the beginning and to make sure you know what you believe before you get put into action. And tonight, Glenn revealed ways for you to really get moving!

The two links below are for the American Legislative Exchange Council's (A.L.E.C.'s) web site and Facebook page.  I recommend stopping by their web site to see who they are, what they do, and for updates on this battle.  On their Facebook page you can "Like" them to show they have broad support.
