"deal" to avert the so-called "fiscal cliff" gives us more
debt and more taxes. Each American (including children) now owes the federal
government more than $52,056.

After sailing through the Senate 89-8, the "fiscal cliff" deal
negotiated by Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Vice President Joe Biden,
which includes tax hikes impacting 77 percent of working-class Americans,
was passed in the House by a vote of 257-167.

Sen. Landrieu: YES

Sen. Vitter: YES



Rep. Boustany: NO
